Media notes
A singing Northern Shrike-tit (a rare form, prone to be split). A very rare bird, this form looks different and sounds different from the other two forms, and they are all three seperated by thousands of kilometers. Why these forms aren't already split is a mystery to me. Endemic to NE Western Australia and the Top End (N Northern Territory). Elevation: 151 m. Date added to IBC: June 22, 2016.
Observation details
IBC scientific name: Falcunculus whitei.
