Indian Vulture - Immature of this Critically Endangered Species. IUCN Status - Critically Endangered With 97 percent decline in their population this species is in in the real Open-Loop of being completely Extinct in the wild by another decade _________________________ This Juvenile was handed over to the Forest Ranger on being Orphaned and falling out of the nest by a well-meaning Birder It was raised and taken care of to a critical level and then released into wild. Where uptill now, it is doing well learning skills and ways of the wild and wilderness. With adult wing-span reaching 7-8 feet this kid will be flying into a completely uncertain future and possibly oblivion thnx to man-made and misused Diclofenac Sodium. Elevation: 176 m.
