Little Bee-eater clinging to bank near nest, S52 Shingwedzi River Loop. We found a pair of Little Bee-eaters with a nesting burrow in the bank at the edge of the Shingwedzi River crossing on the Shingwedzi River Loop road. They were hawking for flying insects, then entering the nest burrow to feed their chicks. This bird was clinging to the bank near the nest and excavating the soil. Elevation: 287 m. Date added to IBC: July 1, 2017.
