ANEPSIA, Reichenb. 1850.  (Turdus borbonicus, Gm.)" (G. Gray 1855); "Anepsia Reichenbach, 1850, Av. Syst. Nat., pl. 54. No species; generic details only. Type, by subsequent designation, Turdus borbonicus Gmelin. (G. R. Gray, 1855, Cat. Gen. Subgen. Birds, p. 43.)" (Deignan in Peters 1960, IX, 282).
