Bowyeria

(syn. Colluricincla Ϯ Bower's Shrike-thrush C. boweri) Capt. Thomas Henry Bowyer-Bower (1862-1886) English ornithologist, collector in Australia; "1020. BOWYERIA, gen. nov.  Differs from Pinarolestes in its stouter heavier bill, and stronger feet with longer wings and tail, and from Colluricincla in its much shorter wings and tail though as stout in the bill and feet.  Type, Collyriocincla boweri Ramsay." (Mathews 1912).
