B. phænicuroïdes Hodgs. MSS.  2. B. pectoralis (Gould), Icones Avium. pl.  ... *This division was proposed by Mr Hodgson in 1844 (List of Nepal Birds), under the name of Bradypterus; but which, having been used, is changed to the above" (G. Gray 1846).
