Diatropura

(syn. Euplectes Ϯ Long-tailed Widowbird E. progne) Gr. διατροπος diatropos  variously disposed  < δια dia  by means of; τροπος tropos  character, manner; ουρα oura  tail; "The genus Chera Gray [1849] must give place to Chera Hübner [1816], employed in Lepidoptera; and it may be called Diatropura, from διατροπος, differens, and ουρα, cauda. The type and only species is Emberiza procne Boddaert, which will now stand as Diatropura procne (Boddaert)." (Oberholser 1900).
