Glycifohia

(syn. Gliciphila Ϯ Vanuatu Honeyeater G. notabilis) Genus Gliciphila, Swainson, 1837, honeyeater (emended to Glyciphila); perhaps a play on the genus Foulehaio Reichenbach, 1852, honeyeater. Conisbee 1957, listed fohia as a native name. "Glycifohia, gen. nov.  Differs from Ramsayornis Mathews in having a bill longer than the head, and the tail-feathers more pointed.  Type, Glyciphila notabilis Sharpe." (Mathews 1929).
