(syn. Edolisoma Ϯ Ponapé Cicadabird E. insperatum) Part anagram of genus Edolisoma Jacquinot & Pucheran, 1853, cicadabird; "Lisomada gen. nov.  Differs from Edolisoma Pucheran, in having the sexes alike. The tail is also shorter in proportion to the wing measurement.  Type: Volvocivora inspirator Finsch." (Mathews 1928); "Lisomada Mathews, 1928, Novit. Zool., 34, p. 372.
