Av. t. 20. ic. 340-41. t. 25. ic. 2610-11. t.24. ic. 2601. t. 37. ic. 2271-72" (Reichenbach 1852). Reichenbach referred to a name “Maiague” given by Piso 1658, to a cormorant-like bird (Tupí name Maiagué  for some sort of waterbird).
