Melanobucco

(syn. Lybius Ϯ Double-toothed Barbet L. bidentatus) L. melas, melanos  black  < Gr. μελας melas, μελανος melanos  black; genus Bucco Temminck, 1820, barbet; "2. MELANOBUCCO, gen. n.   Wants the dense tufts of bristles which conceals the chin-angle in Pogonorhynchus and Erythrobucco.  Differs from Tricholæma in wanting the hairy plumes on the breast.   Type M. bidentatus (Shaw)." (Shelley 1889).
