Micralcyone

(syn. Ceyx Ϯ Little Kingfisher C. pusillus halli ) Gr. μικρος mikros  little; genus Alcyone Swainson, 1837, kingfisher; "MICRALCYONE, gen. nov.  Differs from Alcyone in its smaller size, longer slenderer bill and weaker feet, with shorter wings.  Type, Alcyone pusilla halli Mathews" (Mathews 1912).
