FLAVO-CINCTA.  ...  3  MERULOIDES.  ...  Ϯ We have taken the liberty of altering the orthography of this word from Mimetes to Mimeta; the former word having been already appropriated by Mr. Brown to a genus of plants in these Transactions (vol. x. p. 105)." (Vigors & Horsfield 1827); "Mimeta Vigors and Horsfield, 1827, Trans. Linn. Soc. London, 25 [sic= 15], p. 326. Type, by subsequent designation, Gracula viridis Latham = Coracias sagittata Latham."
