Oscarornis

(syn. Lalage Ϯ Samoan Triller L. sharpei) Oskar R. Neumann (1867-1946) German ornithologist, collector; Gr. ορνις ornis, ορνιθος ornithos  bird. "Oscarornis gen. nov.  Differs from Lalage Boie in having a distinct bill, showing it to be the most primitive form.  Type: Lalage sharpei Rothschild." (Mathews 1928).
