L. penelops  a kind of duck or goose, since variously identified.

● (syn. Ortalis Ϯ White-bellied Chachalaca O. leucogastra) "3. a. Penelops (Plin.) albiventris (Penelope - Gould) R.  Ic. Av. t. 271. ic. 2491-92." (Reichenbach 1853).
