Meyeni Nob.   ...   **) Von πετρα, Fels, Klippe und χελιδων, Schwalbe.  ***) Nahe verwandt mit dieser Art und äusserst ähnlich gefärbt sind die folgenden beiden Arten:  P. fulva. — Hirundo fulva Vieill. (Peters 1960, IX, 118).  Although now a frequent commensal of man, the Cliff Swallow formerly nested almost exclusively in caves and on cliffs.
