TETRAOGALLUS NIGELLII Gray [pl. 46]" (J. Gray 1832); "Tetraogallus J. E. Gray, in Hardwicke's Ill. Ind. Zool., 2, pt. 11, 1832, pl. 46. Type, by monotypy, Tetraogallus nigellii J. E. Gray (not Lophophorus nigelli Jardine and Selby) = Tetraogallus himalayensis G. R. Gray." (Peters 1934, II, 60).
