Picumnus Ϯ Speckled Piculet P. innominatus) Nepalese name Wiwi for the Speckled Piculet (see Piculus ●); "YUNXINÆ.  Genus or sub-genus new.  VIVIA, nobis.  Wee-wee of the Nipalese.  ...  Species new. V. Nipalensis; Nipalese Vivia, nobis.  ...  These singular little birds are clearly distinguishable from the genus Yunx (Auctorum) by their Picine tongue and by the structure of their wings, which also assimilates them with several of the smaller species of Woodpeckers" (Hodgson 1837).
