COLONIA

(Tyrannidae; Ϯ Long-tailed Tyrant C. colonus) Based on de Azara's 1802-1805, name Colón for the Long-tailed Tyrant, and specific name Muscicapa colonus Vieillot, 1818; "Platyrhynchus Leucophaius, Vieil.  Body above brown, yellow beneath, white streaked.  S. America.  In others, the tail is uneven, and the two central feathers are much the longest. The subgenus, Colonia, gray, peculiar to South America.   Peruvian Flycatcher, Lath.
