Brachypteraciidae are not zygodactyl.
Brachypteraciidae are not zygodactyl
Chico Botelho is right: toe arrangement in Brachypteraciidae is not zygodactyl but anisodactyl, as in most bird families. Among Coraciiformes only the Cuckoo-roller (Leptosomus discolor, Leptosomatidae) can be considered zygodactyl. This has now been amended. Thanks Chico!
