Media notes
On a dewy morning in the grasslands. This is, in my opinion, one of the more difficult sparrows to photograph. Although common enough in their core breeding range (which is in the middle of an nnderpopulated region of the USA), they are shy and furtive. I've photographed most of the sparrows in North America, but this image made me very happy today!. Elevation: 810 m. Date added to IBC: June 25, 2019.
