Bar-tailed Treecreeper : doing a Wallcreeper act and catching a moth-1. Treecreeper doing a Wallcreeper act ... On day 2 at birding destination 1 ..... we woke up early ... to capture the Himalayan Snow-peaks in the first light of the day ..... it was fairly cold and we had to cover ourselves well to escape the chill ... In return we got some OK images of those fleeting moments ... By the time we finished ... birds had already started calling their activity started picking up as well ..... so, we decided to stay put for some more time ... And the patience was rewarded well again ..... we saw a Treecreeper come out of the forest-edge ... land on the stone wall of the hotel ... creep up with the same faclity as on a tree ... reached the cornice and pick up a mid-sized moth hiding underneath ... never before had we seen a Treecreeper doing a Wallcreeper act ... ( ... the latter found in this area as well ... ). Elevation: 1872 m. Date added to IBC: November 12, 2018.
