Island whistler (most likely) on Karatung Island, Nanusa, Talaud 2. If Island whistler, a new record for Talaud, Sulawesi and West of the Weber Line, and potential new subspecies. If not, potential new species. Only occurs on two of the eight Nanusa islands, Karatung and Marampit. Restricted to fragments of primary forest and mature secondary growth. Elevation: 19 m. Date added to IBC: February 5, 2017.
