The mangrove rail (Rallus longirostris) is a species of bird in the Rallidae family. It is found in South America. It was.....formerly considered conspecific with the clapper rail (Rallus crepitans).[1][2] Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical mangrove forests and coastal saline lagoons.
