Male foraging on a Pyrostegia venusta flower. Taken at 16:39h with a Nikon D7200 camera (at 1.3x crop mode) + modified TC16A teleconverter + Nikkor 300mm f/4.5 ED non-IF (=480mm f/7.2 semi-AF) + BushHawk stock mount. ISO 500, f/5.6 (x1.6 = f/9) at 1/160s. Note the crown being covered with polen of the flower. 75% crop (11.5/15.4Mp). No flash used. Elevation: 727 m. Date added to IBC: June 22, 2016.
