Identification
A small green turaco with a yellow bill that inhabits lowland forests in West and Central Africa. The iridescent blue wings and tail, in combination with the bright yellow bill and green crest, are unique within its range. Call is a raucous series of up to 50 caws that get faster before leveling off. More commonly found in primary forest than its red-billed relative, the Guinea Turaco.
