Charlotte Elton | the Internet Bird Collection
Charlotte loves birdwatching and making videoclips. So, she says, making some focussed on birds, and contributing them to IBC is a natural now that she is retired. She was brought up sailing and birdwatching on the Norfolk Broads, and moved to Panama in 1969, where she is an active member of the Panama Audubon Society. She spends her time between the Canal area and the Chiriqui highlands. Charlotte has spent the last ten years working with communities and the government to get Important Bird Areas of Panama to be declared Protected Areas, on the Caribbean coast the San Lorenzo National Park, the Damani Wetlands and Isla Escudo de Veraguas, and on the Pacific the Las Perlas archipielago.
