Media notes
A South American Austral Thrush hopping and feeding on a lawn. The South American race of the Austral Thrush (Turdus falcklandii magellanicus) is smaller than the Falkland Islands race, and is widespread through central and southern Chile and southern Argentina. It occupies a broad range of habitats, from forests, to open woodland, agricultural lands and urban areas. This Thrush was hopping on mown lawn looking for food at Llanuras de Diana near Punta Arenas. Elevation: 23 m. Date added to IBC: March 15, 2019.
