Tolima Blossomcrown in vervain flowers. The Tolima Blossomcrown (Anthocephala berlepschi) is considered a species by Clements 2018 taxanomy. This bird was seen at Ukuku Rural Lodge about 1.5 km from the town of Juntas which is north of Ibague, Tolima, Colombia. The lodge is a strenuous walk from Juntas. Mules are used to bring luggage to the location, though a few hours there is sufficient for most birders. The Tolima Dove, Indigo-capped Hummingbird and Yellow-headed Brushfinch can also be found at this location. Elevation: 1886 m. Date added to IBC: March 9, 2019.
