A Chestnut-crowned Becard hunting in long grass. The Chestnut-crowned Becard (Pachyramphus castaneus) is found on the edges of both humid and dry forest in Brazil and northern Argentina. It is insectivorous, and rarely hunts on the ground as was this one in the Karadya Birding Lodge and Reserve. Elevation: 400 m. Date added to IBC: February 20, 2019.
Observation details
