A Grey-breasted Martin perching on wire, preening. The Grey-breasted Martin (Progne chalybea) is widely distributed, from Mexico to central Argentina. They occupy a variety of open habitats and adapt well to human habitations, nesting under eaves or in other cavities. They are insectivores, catching their prey on the wing. Elevation: 281 m.
