Media notes
A male Mariqua (or Marico) Flycatcher perched – preening and calling. The Mariqua or Marico Flycatcher (Bradornis mariquensis) mostly occurs in semi-arid woodland and savanna in Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and northern South Africa. The sexes are alike. This male Marico Flycatcher was perching and occasionally making his feeble two-note call. The louder melodic call in the background is that of a White-browed Scrub Robin. Elevation: 1305 m. Date added to IBC: April 8, 2019.
