A female Mocking Cliff Chat eating bread. The Mocking Cliff-chat (Thamnolaea cinnamomeiventris) is a strikingly-marked Chat occurs on cliffs and boulder-strewn river margins in eastern sub-Saharan Africa. Mocking Cliff-chats are monogamous and are usually found in pairs. This female Mocking Cliff-chat had found a piece of bread discarded by picnickers at the Mlondozi Picnic Spot in southern Kruger Park and made sure that no other bird too it from her, disappearing into a cleft in boulders to eat it. Elevation: 287 m. Date added to IBC: June 5, 2018.
