A male Mocking Cliff-chat perched on a boulder, calling. The Mocking Cliff-chat (Thamnolaea cinnamomeiventris) is a strikingly-marked Chat occurs on cliffs and boulder-strewn river margins in eastern sub-Saharan Africa. Mocking Cliff-chats are monogamous and are usually found in pairs. This male Mocking Cliff-chat was perched singing on a large boulder at the foot of a cliff on Tshepe Road, Pilanesberg National Park. Elevation: 1305 m. Date added to IBC: April 8, 2019.
