Male Mocking Cliff-chat perching under thatch. The Mocking Cliff-chat (Thamnolaea cinnamomeiventris) is a strikingly-marked Chat occurs on cliffs and boulder-strewn river margins in eastern sub-Saharan Africa. Mocking Cliff-chats are monogamous and are usually found in pairs. This male was flitting in and out of the thatched boma at the Mlondozi Picnic Spot in southern Kruger Park looking for food scraps. Elevation: 287 m. Date added to IBC: June 5, 2018.
