These Jays are omnivorous, eating mostly insects but also fruits and sometimes nestlings and other small vertebrate prey. They are often seen close to places where people congregate, stealing food from restaurant tables, or in this case fruit spilled from a bird feeding table at Karadya Birding Lodge in north-eastern Argentina. Elevation: 400 m. Date added to IBC: February 17, 2019.
