A Purple-gaped Honeyeater perching in windy conditions. The Purple-gaped Honeyeater (Lichenostomus cratitius) occurs in southern Australia, from south-eastern Western Australia, through South Australia to south-western New South Wales and north-eastern Victoria. In Western Australia one of the most reliable places to see it is in the carpark of the Yongergnow Australian Malleefowl Centreat Ongerup. Elevation: 292 m. Date added to IBC: September 30, 2018.
