Rock Shags preening on the jetty at Carcass Island. The Rock Shag (Leucocarbo magellanicus) breeds on the rocky coasts of the Falkland Islands and southern South America. These birds were drying their wings and preening in the early morning sun on the jetty at Carcass Island, West Falkland. Elevation: 6 m. Date added to IBC: February 5, 2019.
