Comments

The Scale-throated Earthcreeper (Upucerthia dumetaria) is a cryptic Furnariid found in high altitude grassland and shrubland and arid lowland scrub.  It is most easily located by its loud chipping call.  This Scale-throated Earthcreeper was in rocky terrain in Plaza de los Pumas – Park a little to the east of Farellones in the Andes above Santiago.
