A Swainson's Flycatcher perching, then flying off. Swainson's Flycatcher (Myiarchus swainsoni) is part of a species complex that occurs over most of central and eastern South America east of the Andes. It occurs in a variety of habitats and particularly favours clearings. This bird was perching on the edge of a track near the Karadya Birding Lodge in northern Argentina. The call is that of the Pygmy Owl. Elevation: 400 m. Date added to IBC: February 20, 2019.
