A White-throated Swallow perching and preening. The White-throated Swallow (Hirundo albigularis) is a fairly common intra-African migrant to South Africa, arriving in July-August and departing April-May. White-throated Swallows are usually found near waterbodies – this bird was perching and preening just outside the Mankwe Hide in Pilanesberg National Park. Elevation: 1305 m. Date added to IBC: June 20, 2018.
