Comments

In addition to this Yucatan Parrot, the villagers had 3 pet Collared Aracaris, a pet White-fronted Parrot, a pet Coatimundi (Coati) and a pet Spider Monkey. They had also trapped Plain Chachalacas that were presumably going to be eaten for dinner at some point. The village is approximately a 20 minute drive from Coba.
I had vowed to never upload a captive bird, but there are no videos of this species on the IBC.
