Mindanao Blue Fantail (Rhipidura superciliaris)

Hypothymis superciliaris

Isabela de Basilan, Philippines

Until recently considered conspecific with R. samarensis (which see). Synonymization of apo with nominate proposed on molecular grounds#R, but apo retained here because evidence (although perhaps based on small sample size) suggests a real morphological difference#R. Two subspecies recognized.
