Family New World Warblers (Parulidae)

Least Concern

Pale-legged Warbler (Myiothlypis signata)

French: Paruline à pattes pâles German: Bergbach-Waldsänger Spanish: Reinita paticlara

Basileuterus signatus

Berlepsch and Stolzmann

, 1906,

Idma, Santa Ana, Peru

Most closely related to M. nigrocristata#R. A specimen record from Colombia (at 3400 m) has been postulated to represent an additional, undescribed, race, but the specimen apparently resembles nominate race of M. luteoviridis and may belong with that species; occurrence of present species in Colombia recently deemed implausible#R. Two subspecies recognized.

Subspecies and Distribution
