Sunda Cuckooshrike (Coracina larvata)

French: Échenilleur de la Sonde German: Sundaraupenfänger Spanish: Oruguero de la Sonda

Ceblepyris larvata

S. Müller

, 1843,

Although race normani is weakly differentiated from nominate in plumage, recorded evidence (sample small) suggests that it has a single-note even-pitch call where nominate has a two-note variable-pitch call, which is possibly suggestive of a species-level distinction; but further study needed, including of more distinctive race melanocephala (of which no recordings appear to exist)#R. Three subspecies recognized.
